A lot of fun
I came across surfskates when ordering Burnt Olive 22" for my son. I actually didn't know such a thing exist. After seeing bunch of videos and reading a few tutorials I came to a conclusion that I need one (and I should be able to ride it). As I really love radical carving on my skis and prefer tight turns to a downhill it looked as the right choice. And it was. It is an amazing equipment!
As it is possible to utilize "pumping" to supply energy you can keep cruising a relatively flat (parking) place as long as you like without stepping on ground. And tight turns can be really tight (after some practicing). As I'm over 50 I like the possibility to ride down the hill slowly making closed turns.
From my point of view it is the best kind of board I could get. Technically speaking it very much depends on what you are looking for... The nose of the board is much less stable comparing to a "standard" skateboard due to the Waterborne Adapter. But thank to the adapter you can have a lot of fun.
